I wonder if the system can adapted to something like the SL-C. It seemed to work well at Le Mans.

Yup, I like the AMOLED screen. It looks like it's got a decent resolution as well.

This is where I first read about it, not a new idea but it looks like a better implementation. With it coming to production cars, it might be possible to purchase the modules separately from the parts department or online to install elsewhere. It might also encourage aftermarket alternatives.

I won't get my hopes up for this system being affordable, or even "kind-of" expensive. Nonetheless, it's a good find Greg, and I'll keep my eyes open for more information.

I've been thinking of something of the like for my P4. Real racers may well tell me that good rear vision isn't that important. But I am not convinced from my novice perspective!

I run a rear camera as a rear view mirror in my SLC and the resolution isnt as good as it could be but it works. The trick is remembering to look at it!

This one seems nice. No fish eye, big monitor. Seems good to me.

Troy: Might I be so bold as to suggest that you closely scrutinize the information from that site. I may very well be completely off base, but for me, a little red flag pops up when they give a product a 10/10 in the category of "Ease of Installation", but list the "Cons" as "The unit is somewhat tricky to install".

Good point. I do think the ease of install for all of should not really apply when you consider we are the few crazy enough to build our own cars.
