Oil pump primer drive

Personally, I'd go the cheap route. Most people I know do what you mentioned; cannabilize an old distributor. In my 351W, the pump is male and I found a 1/4 drive socket that fit the hex. Via extensions and an air ratchet, that's how I prime it.

Just use a cheap Chinese 5/16 socket welded to a length of rod... Chuck it up in the drill motor anti-clockwise for a few minutes and call it good...

I use an old distributor with the gear removed.. I can see how these would be hard to come by in Germany.. I can look around the shop for a 351w distributor if you want to go that way..
