Oil pump primer drive

Hi

i´m looking for a oil pump primer drive.

Found this one

kind of like it due to the bearings

but there are also cheaper ones

Does one need the bearing version.

Or does anyone have an old obsolete Dizzy to send me, which i could modify than.

Personally, I'd go the cheap route. Most people I know do what you mentioned; cannabilize an old distributor. In my 351W, the pump is male and I found a 1/4 drive socket that fit the hex. Via extensions and an air ratchet, that's how I prime it.

Just use a cheap Chinese 5/16 socket welded to a length of rod... Chuck it up in the drill motor anti-clockwise for a few minutes and call it good...

I use an old distributor with the gear removed.. I can see how these would be hard to come by in Germany.. I can look around the shop for a 351w distributor if you want to go that way..
