oil sender position, up or down?

hi, due to space limitations i"ll have to mount my oil sender faced up (connection will be down), so if there is any air left in the hose/pipe it can not escape
is this a problem or will the air escamp anyway
(will the air be locked up inside the sender and because of this will it give a wrong signal?)
thanks,rick

Should not be an issue, but if your concerned, loosen the unit a couple of turns when you start or prime the system for the first time until you get a couple of drops of oil out at the fitting to bleed it.
