Jaguar V12 - still got that one!

Well, I've owned or still own some of these vehicles and didn't count any I owned only for a really short time. Of course, many are cycles, but cycles are important for your personal performance perspective:

1980 Ford Mustang, I-6, but ran in the 13s!
1984 Pontiac Fiero, I-4, not stock at all.
1985 Ford Mustang 5.0L, hit the 12s!
1973 Honda CB750
1977 Kawasaki KZ750 Twin
1975 Honda CB550
1980 Kawasaki 550
1992 Yamaha TDM850
1989 Honda CB1
1991 Mercury Cougar, 5.0L, blower, etc.
1995 Ford Mustang 5.0L
1977 BMW R100
1986 Ford Mustang SVO, I-4, 25+lbs of boost and very fast!
Honda CB1000, the turbo bike project that failed
2000 VW Jetta VR6
Roaring Forties GT40
1990 Lotus Esprit SE (just got it!)

And the mid-life crisis hasn't started yet!

I evolved to the GT40s through the good old american muscle car family tree.
'70 Mustang Mach 1 (sold)
'70 Boss 302 Cougar Eliminator (sold)
'69 SS 396 El Camino (sold)
'69 427 3x2 Corvette roadster L89
'73 Pantera
'72 FJ40 Toyota Landcruiser that I stuffed a 351 Cleveland with fuel injection into.

*first car at 16 years old - fiat 124 sport spyder
* second car - Triumph TR6
* third car - TVR 2500M
You can see a trend that i am working my way up to something really good. but the TVR got wrecked. I got married and babies started happening. much time elapsed and many practical cars are purchased. Then the mid life thing kicks in and a Cobra replica (FFR) is purchased. Much fun was had but i had to sell after two seasons (much too dangerous for the kids to drive)and now have a restored 1969 mini cooper. The mini is a riot to drive and my kids love it. Buttttt its now time to sell the mini. (business reasons. Next project will be a 40 but this may take a year or so. My son and i went out to see Gordon and Hershal in December and were very impressed with the fit, finish and ride of the RF40. So i guess its a Ford Taurus until then.

Boss 429 Mustang 1969
Boss 351 Mustang 1971
Boss 302 engine (not the car)
1960 Falcon (289/4 sp.)

Don't have any of them now but that's ok. I'm building a GT40!

Have fun!

John

1968 Jaguar E-Type 2+2 (still own)
1999 Ford Explorer

-61 404 unimog, still have it
-90 talon, was a blast but kid was coming, talon ended up going to trade for a pathfinder.
-then the pile of steel and fiberglass everywhere, someday to be a 40.

Oh, plus a GTD40!

By the way, I'm sure I forgot a couple of Audi 100s.

Just the fun ones listed!
1980 - Yamaha RD250DX - loads of fun, till I met a car jumping a junction!
1984 - Ford Escort MkII - 'Harrier' (1760cc)
1994 - Ford Sierra Cosworth 4x4 - Even more fun with 350BHP + I still have it! (1998cc + T3.5 Hybrid @ 26lbs boost)

Still not got a 40, but have driven a few (thanks to all!) + currently drive / develop Roy Smart's Mk1 GTD aka 'A11GTD'.

....Once flew a Sepcat Jaguar though... and that was fun too.
