Only in America

Yep, a lot of them made it to Syria. Iraq would only let the inspectors go to a certain site at a time, thereby giving time to remove weapons from the next site.

Did anyone remember seeing the ONE news cast during the Iraq invasion that showed Iraqi mig fighters with chem/bio weapon dispensing systems??? The Coalition found migs buried in the sand in an attempt to hide them. There was one report then hushed up.

I found out recently from a former Special Forces operator that the insurgents and al qaeda got to the remaining bio/ chem weapon stashes before the U.S. could. These were the remaining stashed that were not moved into Syria. And by the way, we are talking thousands of weapons. In addition, approx 100 were used in Afghanistan.

So Pres Bush had two choices, either admit we phucked up and let the bad dudes get them, or say ooops, bad info. The lesser of two evils, is ooops bad info.

And since our current anti-American president wont enforce and protect our borders AND sue states like Arizona who tried to protect its border.... Only a matter of time before those weapons start showing up here.

I remember that! We must be few in numbers.

At least Obama didn't lie us into two wars which have now lasted 10 years... more than any other war we have been involved in and borrow the money to do it. Also Bush left us with a huge debt... I never hear anyone talking about that.

I will.....Your right. Bush didn't use the VETO on the Democratic control congressional spending. I was upset with the debt level than. Now I'm livid. O is still engaged in Afghanistan and now Africa.

We have an out of control spending Congress....No mater who has the big gavel. I've made plans to stop going to work in mid-year and stop funding the spending. Anyone needing funds for charities will be given the phone number for the White House.
What happens if you refuse to play along? GDP around 1% ....Lower than Cuba. Several states are not going to participate in Obamacare. What happens then?

Grady,

A little hint of what will happen....

O is trying to force his socialism and social engineering and control on all of us. If he gets his way, the 2nd amendment will be stripped and the 22nd will be repealed. A democrat from NY has already introduced a bill to repeal the 22nd.

Then it is King Obama.

And he will try everything he can to bring this country down.

Here's another way to look at the Debt Ceiling:

Let's say, You come home from work and find there has been a sewer backup in your neighborhood.... and your home has sewage all the way up to your ceiling.

What do you think you should do ......

Raise the ceiling, or remove the shit?

Exactly!!!

And with initial AND continuing jobless claims up, the economy is not recovering as they would like us to believe. It's ok with Obama though, it helps create economic slavery requiring the government control. All part of his plan. Too many sheeple can't see that, though.

I found it amusing that the Obama Admin announced it is shutting down Obama's "Jobs Council" at almost the same instant the announcement was made that the U.S. economy had CONTRACTED for the 1st time in 3 years (or whatever it was)! Ooooopsee!

'Course, that outfit has only met four times in the last two years anyway, and, judging from the unemployment/under employment figures, it's not like the 'council was a flaming, screaming 'success' that we had to keep around.

The only job sectors that were protected were growing government and criminals since we can all see that the government isn't serious on locking criminals up. After the government is made up of criminals.

Only in America can Chuck Hagel somehow be a Republican even though hes pretty much against everything they stand for...

'Exactly why Obama picked him! He gets to claim "bipartisanship" in his political appointments while at the same time getting a lefty lapdog who'll do his bidding.

You Obama haters are such broken records. You don't like Hagel because Obama picked him ,and for no other reason.

Here's a brief summary of his record:

According to David Boaz, during the Bush administration, Hagel maintained a "traditionally Republican" voting record, receiving "a lifetime rating of 84 percent from the American Conservative Union and consistent A and B grades from the National Taxpayers Union." On the Issues describes Hagel as a "libertarian-leaning conservative." According to Boaz, among his most notable votes, Hagel:

Voted for the Patriot Act
Voted for the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts
Voted against No Child Left Behind
Voted against Bush’s Medicare prescription drug bill
Voted against McCain-Feingold[28

If a Republican had nominated this guy, your dicks would be so hard you wouldn't be able to reach the remote to turn on Fox News.

Did you WATCH his con./nom. hearing at all????????? Are you aware of the statements he's made over the years? 'His comments on "containing"(!!!) a nuke Iran? 'On the "Jewish lobby intimidating people in Washington"? 'About Israel keeping "Palestinians caged up like animals"? 'About America being "the world's bully"? 'About Israel committing "the systematic destruction of an American friend" with anti-Hezbollah strikes in Lebanon???

And KNOCK OFF the "Obama haters" garbage. I'm sick and tired of your side always playing the pathetically dishonest haters/racists/bigots/anti-woman 'cards' anytime someone disagrees with anything Obama wants to shove down our throats. Serously. And you might clean up your dialog while you're at it. Good grief.

BTW, may I remind you that at one time Huffington and Powell were actual GOPs/conservatives? And Dick Morris and Ronald Reagan at one time were LIBERALS???

You said this:

Claiming Hagel is a "lefty lapdog" who will "do the President's bidding."

That was a stupid statement. I posted his voting record and endorsements showing him to be anything but.

Instead of sucking it up, admitting you were wrong, and learning something, you responded with some misdirected rant.

Nice job.

Now if you want to discuss the merits of what Hagel said at his confirmation hearing, that's a different story. But a prerequisite to that is admitting you posted something dumb and thanking me for correcting you.

Let me know when you are ready.
