Pete's pony...in scale

ehehe Pete.

I loved your little new pony, so won a big battle on ebay to have the gt350 in 1/12, and will finish it as your car.

Too nice...too big and american! (an original revell monogram beauty from the past).

What can I say Paolo, I am honoured. I hope your build is a little less frustrating than mine has been. I look forward to seeing how it turns out.

That was an enjoyable read, Paolo....thanks for posting that link.

The guy made a simple mistake in the writeup regarding the Shelby S and R code cars.....here is what he said:

"Quarter windows had vents, rather than windows found in normal Fastback Mustangs."

In actuality, the opposite was true, factory fastback mustangs had vents, only the Shelby GT's had windows. It was a very unique feature of the Shelbys.

Would you mind posting photos on the forum once you get the kit finished? And, just to satisfy my abundant curiosity, how about keeping track of the "man hours" you spend completing the build? I use to build a lot of the Revell 1/24th scale kits when I was in high school, but I'm sure my work would never match your professional builds. I gave all my little model cars to a cousin, have no idea what he ever did with them. Had some very good ones, all muscle cars, of course!

Is a future project I hope to start soon.
I like a lot that pony, love its color too.

And u are a too kindly person...so let's start it ! ;)

It is too important to keep in touch with owners of the real thing to make a (i'll try to) perfect replica, and this is the biggest scale kit Mustang u can have after the real one.

My works are usually un automotive forum. Also in that arena I am Lovegt40 ;)
