R Rich A Mar 19, 2007 #3 Wow that's some good prices! Neal, Do you have a # for the company that sells the rebuilts?
M Mike Dozier Mar 19, 2007 #4 Do not pay $ 650 for a hi-mileage 016....they can be shipped for under $ 200. There should still be plenty in boneyards on the left coast. MikeD

Neal Lifetime Supporter Mar 19, 2007 #5 Check with German Transaxle of America. German Transaxle of America I have a 016 with 5N ratios in my garage gathering dust. If you planning to come to the Seattle area we can work a deal! GTA also has a custom 3:22 ring and pinion option which has be discussed here on the forum.

R Rich A Mar 19, 2007 #6 Thanks Neal, I'll send them an email and see what they have. I would like to get the 3:22 if the price is good.

R Rich A Mar 25, 2007 #7 I just pulled an 016 5N from an 1985 5000s Wagon for $109 including tax. The Odometer said it had 107000 miles on it. I hope its good on the inside.
