Race Retro - Any GT40's?

Hi all

I recently joined the GT40 enthusiast club and was very much hoping to see a couple of cars to wet my appetite before my chassis arrives at race retro on Saturday. I went on the Saturday and didn't see 1 car, very disappointing.

So where any members there in their cars and did I just not look hard enough?

Sorry, Trevor, we didn't have a Club stand this year, because the organisers couldn't give us an indoor pitch, I seem to remember.
The next event to see Club 40s and meet members will be the Stoneleigh show and AGM on Sunday, 2nd May only. Usually 30 or so cars make it out of hibernation for the event.
Don't go on the Bank Holiday Monday, we won't be there.

What about the big Cadwell Park event on 17th March i.e. Wednesday (though I won't be there myself).

Thanks Tony, I'll make sure I am there as its only down the road from me. Hopefully I will be well into my build by then so will be a good opportunity to have a look at some other 40's for reference.

Hi Trevor,

Yes, I was there on Friday and there were no GT 40´s around.

Some nice Alfa Romeo sport prototypes and new "continuation" Lolas.
