Rear Clip Ducting

Does anyone have any pictures of the Mk1 rear clip ducting, both the lower oil cooler path and the upper brake cooling path.

I've scoured this forum for pictures - we tend to take and post pictures of engine bays but not of the inside of the rear clip. I've found a few but still looking for any details. I know many have used the molded parts from Bill Hough on their RCR's. I am hoping to duplicate these using foam and fiberglass.

Unfortunately between the old forum software and Photobucket, many of the posted images are now history and replaced by the Image Not Found warning.

Thanks

Paul, I do not answer to your question but I take the opportunity of this photos to ask a question. I saw several cars with cables to retain the bonnet when it is open. Is there any risk of interference with the tires when the wheel is spinning?

I have seen this also - a few of them incorporate an extension spring to pull the cable to where it is safe.

Does anyone have photos of the Hough ducts? I did find one picture of the brake duct but hoping to garner enough info to make a set for myself.

Most original and the SAFIR cars the cable unclips from the tub and stores on a tab that it wraps around, and the clip then attaches to the tab on the clam.

We have cables that are "self-springing", i.e. they coil naturally so they can stay attached to both the tub and the clam and self-store in a 4" coil so no interference. They come 31.5" and 41.5" with eyelets on each end. They are $44.00 per pair. 716.812.3938 or [email protected]
