Ricardo fluid recommendations

Were getting to the point where we need to add fluid to the Ricardo trans. :thumbsup:

Can someone confirm the mfr specified capacity for fill and fluid type.?

Or for type, a suitable equiv or preferred brand.

if you are talking about the Ricardo transaxle out of the Ford GT,
the guys at Ricardo told me not to use anything but the oil from Ford for the GT trans. it has to do with the LSD. #XT 75W90 QGT and it holds 4 litres

Off thread, but if you grab an outer cup and turn it the other cup moves in the opposite direction with no resistance. Do these Ricardo's have a gear type LSD? I have other LSD's (friction type) and they offer resistance.

I think Ricardo also recommends Castrol LSX90 .. ?

Sounds like an open diff (or very worn LSD), Jason. I don't think Ricardo offers TBDs.
