I admire your work and it gives me some ideas for my project. If you don't mind, a few questions

1) what is the fore-aft spacing of the various stations

2) what material is the green foam?

Thanks! Paul, green foam is polyuretane foam resistan for some solvent like acetone , 646 tinner , polyester resins and gelcoat to any epoxy putty can add just on the surface. Please clarify the first question. Spacing between buck panels...?

Have more photos not all fit in one post.
Firs pir foam panel resistsn to solvents.

Fantastic work, by the way. This is a massive undertaking, cheers for taking it on!

Thanks Chris ! I will move forward to achieve my goal.

He is requesting the distance which you chose to space out the contour pieces you had cut- the measurement between each contour.
Material is pressed cardboard thicknes 3mm, Bucks make with software called slicer for fusion, distance between some layers are differen. Software allows make differen spaces between layers if u need. In my case I chose count of layers along the part, a distance is about 72mm at front body part .

To slice the 3d model not enoug to download and import to slicer . it still needs to be edit to the required condition
all the models on the internet are hollow, basically. And not suitable for one click to slice the buck.
This is the solution that seems best to me, make multiple bucks for each sides , and place them on square box.
This is the example in the photos

Hmmm... I just received a big set of drawings for a similar body buck from a friend. He had his 275 GTB/4 long nose coupe 3D laser scanned some time ago and those drawings are printouts of computer generated "slices" like the ones shown above. If I were a lot younger I would try re-creating one.

Wanting to learn how close are the formers, the pieces that run across with width of the body, the nominal center to center spacing. Hopefully , the red arrow will show up and help explain.

I have a question. I am currently working on a GT40 body. At the same time, I want to start doing chassis too. So, what is the difference between street and track chassis construction, I am still a newbie and this is my first work on such a project. that why I am have some question.
