Rollcage padding

Hi

I would like to put some padding on my rollcage. I have purchased some of the FIA approved stuff,

but unfortunetaly it is to stiff to install it without distorting the spider fit.
So í´m looking for a material which is softer but not to soft. idealy it is excentric made. ( inner diameter is excentric located within the outer)

Tom,
There are several places in the U S. Here are some to look at and get an idea of pricing. All I have seen have the thicker sections in toward the passenger. There are some for the open cockpits that are thick all the way around. I am including a page of pics. If you put your cursor over the pic it will tell you where they got it. They are from all over the world.
