Today I finished a 13 year affair with my Porsche 911. At the moment she is enroute, with her new man, from here in Southern England via Pembroke Dock and Rosslare to Tralee in Southwest Ireland. There she will have mechanical and cosmetic surgery which won't actually make her any younger but she will look and 'perform' better.
Sad but GLAD because it means :-
1. The Lotus Europa I have has a reprieve for the time being, although the restoration on that will be delayed even longer because
2. I can now get stuck in and start work on the Tornado TS40 I bought last August. That will see me through the winter months ready I hope for the start of next years activity.
Help is bound to be needed so thank goodnes for all those keen enthusiasts out there and especially for GT40s.com
Ps. The Europa affair is even longer - we got together in 1978!
