The threat levels have not been updated in neaqrly a year, in spite of 30 Britains killed in Tunisia only a few days ago. What this does is effectively rubbish the MI5 /Home Office websithreat ethe t. The largest counter terrorism operation in 10 years has been mounted and still they are labelling as Severe.
Threat level history
Since 2006, information about the national threat level has been available on the MI5 and Home Office websites. In September 2010 the threat levels for Northern Ireland-related terrorism were also made available.
Date / 29 August 2014 Threat from international terrorism /SEVERE Threat from Northern Ireland-related terrorism in Northern Ireland/SEVERE and in Gt Brtain /MODERATE.
