Allow me to step aside as a car fan and be a SF fan for a moment.
Tomorrow (Friday, September 30th), the science fiction movie "Serenity" opens. If you like science fiction, space ships, conspiracies, action, explosions, underdogs, good acting, and good scripts, then you might like "Serenity".

The story is about the crew of the space ship Serenity who are being chased around the borders of the civilized universe by a relentless operative from the Alliance government. (There's a lot more to the story, but I don't want to spoil it)
I saw the unfinished movie at a sold-out preview in June (I almost regreted going to Le Mans, because I missed the chance to get tickets, but a friend had an extra ticket). Even in its unfinished form, the movie managed to keep me captivated for the whole two hours.
"Serenity" is the follow up to the "Firefly" TV show. The story behind the movie is interesting. The show was canceled before the first season finished airing. But there was sufficient fan interest that Joss Weldon (the creator of the TV shows "Buffy" and "Angel") was able to persuade a big studio to produce the movie. To give you an idea of the fan interest, tickets for the sold-out previews were sold on ebay for over $100 (tickets for the previews in Scotland sold on ebay for over GBP 100).
