Every once in a while we're witness to wonderful and humane and meaningful moments and events - today I saw a US Marine coming off a commercial flight and greeting his wife and new born infant (seeing him for the first time) at Los Angeles airport. The whole gate went crazy with clapping and cheering and then fell completely silent in awe of the tender moment. Amazing.

Merry Christmas everyone - have a great 2008! The ability to wish you and your loved ones the very best starts and is maintained with freedom. Soldiers of freedom loving countries have and are insuring my children and grand children's future in the decades to come. Those soldiers are one of my greatest blessings.
