I have come across a Sports car world (Australia) magazine dated January
1969. I has an interesting story about John Wyer and the GT40's.

Pete, first off, I would like to say how much I enjoyed your build log. Many of us appreciate the time you spent in posting this and answering questions along the way.
In relation to magazines, I grew up in the "classic" supercar era and have retained many of the magazines I bought at the time. As you note, articles are too long to post on this forum, but I have:
Classic Car Feb 1974 (UK) - Article with photo on car 1027 (original Grand Prix movie camera car) fitted with a quad cam Indy engine and Lucas fuel injection (425 bhp).
Classic Cars Nov 1974 - Article with photos on a Mk III.
Car July 1968 (UK) - Article with photos of a road registered Mk I complete with spare wheel.
Car and Driver June 1967 (US) - Full road test of a Mk III (very negative).
