Summer Fund Raiser Following up on donation

I received an PM requesting a site donation. It went on to say the costs involved in hosting the site have gone up and in the wake of the soft Spring fund drive donations were required for the well being of the forum we all know and enjoy.

I purchased a "lifetime supporter" membership via the provided paypal link on 6/12. I never received any confirmation or acknowledgement from this site, or a banner on my account as I have seen on other members accounts.

I followed up with a message to the site a few weeks later to see if my donation was received and applied and got no reply.

After a month still no acknowledgment.

I hope the funds were received and put to good use, but no confirmation as such, only a paypal charge for a $399 payment.

Hi Charles,

My apologies for the situation. I don't have a private message from you on or after June 12th, so I'm not certain what happened there. However, I think that I've found your transaction. The Lifetime Supporter situation is very unique in that it is required that I add the user manually and will do so now. I will send you a private message to verify that I have that information correct and add you to the roster. Again, sorry about the problems here but I think it'll be resolved now.
