Testing the new GT

Up at Virginia International Raceway this past Friday a new Ford GT came in along with the new Lambo, the Porsche GT, a Ferrari which I am not sure of, and two other cars that could not be seen. Presumably these things are being used in a test comparison by one of the large sports car magazines so look for a head to head comparison to hit the stands soon.

We could get no information about the cars and SCCA folks were not allowed near them. Since racing was occuring Saturday and Sunday I assume they were headed for storage for some testing this week.

That sounds like the F430.

The new F430 is receiving incredible reviews here in Europe. The Lambo Gallardo is tested against the new F430 in EVO magazine this month.

Both are of similar power 500BHP. BUT the sheer abundance of F1 technology in the Ferrari makes it the winner.

I'd love to see a head to head with the GT!

I think Ferrari might be making a point with the F430, I know it might not have the same power as the Ford, but it will be a far more impressive drive.
