Thanks Ron, it's been 6 mo since it's been out of the trailer. That's its first touchdown on Oregon soil.

It will be a while to get through the house remodel but I'll take a few shots if I get the camera out to the shop. To tide you over, THIS is the post when I made the spoiler. I didn't post anything regarding the fab of the canards as life was getting "busy" at that point and I had to get things painted before starting on getting the house sold.

In all honesty the canards are really large. I tried to line them up with the tire tread when viewed from the front, but in hindsight that might be a little too big. They are a lot larger than I realized or thought they'd be- truly ankle biters. They have grown on me over time though and at this point I think I really like them. We'll see if I cook up another set or not.

In either case, the fab of all the pieces was simply a quality amount of time with simple hand tools and careful patterns.

In the meantime, my dad is in town and we're going through the new (1947) house. In the past 3 days we've completely re-plumbed the house (removing corroded 60 year old galvanized pipe and replacing it with copper) and should be starting on a bathroom remodel in the next day or so. I hope to be in a position to get back to the car by the end of July.

I can't tell you how motivating it is to have it sitting there waiting for me in that shop!
