Topic Problems

Three forums have had problems while I was performing maintence on the server. Forums 1, 3, and I think 9 have the last posted topics "unlinked" for some reason. That is, the last active thread is not hooked up to the board. I will try to re-link these if I can.

Ron,
I do hope you are able to retieve those lost topics because one in particular was worrying me,ie brake piping and the problems some of, i think U.S builders mainly, were experiencing.I did make a fairly obvious comment and i will again if you are unable to retrieve.
Regards,
GTA.

We've got a number of topics lost, I do not know what they all were. I know one involving a "For Sale" section and a car was lost, and my own topic in the RF Forum about the gear change lever was lost as well.

I think I remember the one you are referring was about building sequences. I know that in that thread I asked about using braided SS hose throughout, but this turned out to be a bad idea for a great many reasons. I don't know where it went from there.

There is definitely one out in the Electrical section as the main page shows a date but no topic.

I know there were two more topics lost as well, but do not know what they were. I cannot recover them and can only tell that the number of active topics is less than the number of topics counted in the system.

Another reason we need to switch to a more effective BBS package...

Ron,
I have been saving some of the web pages for reference when my car gets here. If you know the title of the thread, I can see if I have it and will send it to you.
