Hi all. I am Craig Perry, based in the uk.

After much deliberation I have decided to build a GT40 based on the Tornado kit, I am guessing it will take up to ten years and I hope it will be a family project for me and my two boys (currently aged 2 and 3).

Now all I need to do is get my Cobra IVA'd and sold to fund the chassis!

Because I couldn't find one, I have started a facebook page for builders to exchange tips, tricks, questions and photos, link below.

Welcome Craig. Where in the UK are you based? There will be a local group of the GT40 Enthusiasts Club near you. I have sent you a message via this forum - see top right of page.

Hi Craig, you are all going to have a lot of fun, for what it's worth my build took over 10 years it's great for budgeting. Also, when my wife asks what it cost I can say £4000 just always forgot to add the per annum so all was fine.
