This is the most gruelling test ever for man and machine. Some of the bravest men in the world ride here, I just hope the tree huggers don't ban it....
Pretty scary racing conditions. An immense challenge, no margin for error. For the last 100yrs has claimed on average two lives per year.
Everbody knows the dangers. That is the attraction and the challenge. Many really top riders have been killed there, doing what they love doing.
Perish the thought that the namby pamby dogooder minority will try and enforce their existence in a bland cocoon, on the rest of us!
