UN1 from which renault?

Geeee the gearbox comes from many different versions. 21Turbo, 25, 25V6, Alpine, Blindee, GTA, and the 369 (which is actually an earlier but stronger version) from the 30TX/TS

Also the Lotus Esprit S3 starting in 1988, S4 and v8
(1996 - specifically, the UN1-027). The Esprit GT3 also
used a UN1 - the UN1-028 to be specific.

Then there is the DeLorean, and the Eagle Medallion
(in the US).

A, First a friendly suggestion. Use a real name such as Allen or Arthur on this forum and put a location on your profile. It's really an important point when someone is trying to help you. I can't count the number of people who I have invited over to have a chat or look at a part or something because I knew they were here in California. If I and other's know where you are it can help them help you. Country, state, and city is really enough.

R21's can best be found in the UK. I would try the GTD page or the Tornado page on this forum for an answer to your question of cost and availability. See how this works, if you were in London for example someone would have more than likely chimed in about one they have for sale. Kind of a waste of time to offer to sell something to someone who could be 10000 miles away.

Hi Abdul -

Welcome to the forum, re your pricing question there are many answers and most depend upon condition, type, supply and demand.

I have seen UN1 transmissons for sale for as little as £100 (possibly requiring refurbishment) or as high as £1000+ (possibly with Quaife ATB diff and/or other upgrades) so there really is a wide range of pricing out there.

The bell housing, if you use Renault30 and Adapter plate, is less common these days I think, although again I've seen them between £50 and £100.

Postage is always an issue, (they are not light) and also getting them adequately packaged for overseas transit is not a 'simple' option either.

Hope this has helped in some way.

Paul thank you.
i just ordered a tornado kit,it should take 10-12 weeks . so i guess i have enough time to find what i am looking for ,, within my budget .........i hope.
