It's not often you see an aircraft carrier take waves over the bow.​

At least the chopper got a good wash. LOL Now they have to rinse it all off.

All aeroplanes (fixed wing and helo) are specially 'marinised' before use in service on carriers. They are especially made with salt in mind and even the Nimrod MR1 and MR2 at RAF Kinloss has a drive through wash system (continuos ignition on !). However if I were tasked to operate any of the aeroplanes shown in this video I think a total wash and once over down in the 'hangars' would be the order of the day.
What a staggering sight to see such a large carrier with such large waves getting as high as the flight deck.
