Do you know anything about this car? There has been some discussion of this listing on some of the Lotus lists. While it's a neat looking body I'd do my research and be wary.

I have no intention of buying.....just window shopping.....strange that its chassis number cannot be accounted for.
I was also unaware of Lotus using square tubing back then...did they???

The Lotus 30 had a central backbone chassis ala elan style. However in real life it suffered from flexing under racing conditions. The history of this one seems to have some doubt about it.

I have had a couple of Lotii and replaced one chassis with a Stainless Spydersport but the square tubing control arms are a mystery on any Lotus I have ever seen......

It looks to me like someone has collected various pieces, and has then fabricated other parts to try to make a complete car.

The square wishbones do not look right for any lotus I've ever seen.
They did use square tubing some some parts of their chassis, but not much.
