Yeah, it appears they take a Ford Focus FWD drive train and put it in ths back, thereby making a midengine drive train out of it. This is much the same as a Fiero or a MR2. This can be done with most any front wheel drive train as only the rear uprights need to be changed.

I looked at the site and it seems that they have done a lot of engineering to fit a powertrain that IMHO just doesen't have the look or punch of a V-8. Looks like the chassis is setup to take struts, and what about that rear decklid cutout to clear the transverse motor configuration? I guess to each his own as they say, but give me the original setup, the look the, sound, and the performance and I think there would be more interest in the vehicle. Also, I may be seeing things but the body looks longer than a GT to me.

For the guy that wont's a good copy and can pay the price this would not be the car for them. But if you wont the look and a hall ass motor whit lots of tech support. Have you seen the rally car run?
