Last time I saw an event like that it was in Rhodesia in about 1974

The army did a similar thing changing over / swapping 2 engines on mini mokes
2 groups 2 cars drove in, swapped engines, and from memory all four wheels

No jacks everything done by muscle from the blokes transported in the cars

It was good back then and still good now
