The one thing that seems to be missed in all this conversation is that gun control or no gun control does not work.
Do you think that anyone that wants to commit a crime with a gun cares if it is illegal, THEY ARE CRIMINALS WHO THINK THEY ARE ABOVE THE LAW.
If these people want a gun they will get it no matter what.
The military has a massive stockpile of weapons that are regularly broken into or shipments that go missing.
The buck stops with the people and bringing back all the old fashioned values that are now apparently politically incorrect.

It has nothing to do with Americans or guns, it has to do with STUPIDITY. And the ever growing attitude here that the "government" is somehow supposed to be responsible for raising your kid. After all it couldn't be YOUR fault your kid just shot someone. Although attitude certainly is effected by societal standards and no parent can completely isolate their offspring from the crap they are exposed to or the piss poor decisions they may make as a result.
Regardless the problem is not guns, the problem is poor judgement or a complete lack of the value of life (some kids/people are just scary clueless inside), and the American attitude of - "Awe we should hug the morons that did this, is wasn't their fault". Like hell it wasn't, to many f-up people running loose with the "coddlers" defending their right to be irresposible and a detriment to society.
IF they are CLEARLY the shooters - then they should be ''removed''. They pulled the trigger and no one forced them to. End of story, period.
