GT40 original lights

Gentlemen,

Did some cleaning in the garage today.

It is time for me to get rid of some inventory :

Offering :

- 2 pairs of original gt40 headlights : ie the beloved and so rare Marchal TP21SP. These are NOS not repros and come in their original boxes from the 60's.. More than hard to find and really expensive : they sell 600 euros excluding VAT (pair) at italparts.com. Have a look at the gt40s original parts catalog attached, and you will recognize them with the big Marchal scudo in the middle.

I sell them (pair) at 380 euros. It is a 60% rebate in respect of italparts...Only 2 pairs.

- 3 pairs (6 units) of the original gt40 rear tail lights . They are still boxed in their 60's boxes and are obviously NOS.They are not the fiat 850 lights wich were not the original lights. Originals were the marchal for the simca. You can compare with the GT40 original parts sheet for lights attached and see that these are the good ones (see the connectors with the 1 / 2 pins).

Asking 210 euros per pair (a pair is the 2 steel chromed holders + the 2 Marchal lenses, all new - NOS).

- 1 pair of marchal 651 original lights, these are not new but very nice : free of rust and reflectors with no oxydtion. The lenses have been removed for a chemical and ultrasonic cleaning then reglued by a professional. Same here you can compare them with the original GT40 lights catalog.

Asking : 130 euros the set of 2.

I can ship worldwide. No personal checks unless drawn on a french bank (it costs too much to credit a check from a foreign country..sorry). I accept paypal or bank TT.

Was a bit of luck to grab this set of lights... I received some phone calls from local simca owners fighting for them but unfortunately it was too late...Also, I think they fit better on our GTs.. :2thumbsup:

Hello Peter , thanks for the update.

So, end of story and as Andrew said it has been a fair deal :

Parts were existing and got delivered and buyers were real buyers (they paid the amounts agreed).

For sure these lights will fit better on their original locations rather on my garage shelves.
