DOOR HINGES!! BANE OF MY LIFE!

Hi guys. Does anyone have any advice of hanging doors. I did away with the original hinges that came with the chassis as I didn’t like the concept. There was an open end on both top and bottom bolts. I know the changes of the door coming off and losing it is minimal however that wasn’t my only issue. Adjustment was t great. I made some new ones from box section and rose joints, much better just still not 100% happy. Any suggestions or ideas, plans, complete hinges for sale??? Anything!?

Thanks

Surely with that design you have very limited in and out movement, 1/2 turn at a time.

Maybe speak to SGT as theirs work with the spherical bearings but slow more adjustment

Hi Paul
No its a loose rose joint with a nut on the back side also, so you get as little or as much adjustment as you like.

Do you have a free inside nut or is it welded in place? If it's free you have adjustment without the half turn thing.
I hit post at the same time I saw Jacks post

Free nut, I think ill get it with a bit of adjustment. Just been stressing me for a few days now. I like to keep steady progress.

Is the front clip going to clear that upper rose joint? I know on my RCR, there was precious little room above the hinge there..
