180 Degree headers - Primary diameter

I'm looking to start fabricating the 180 degree headers for my Chev LS2 Engine.

I was planning on using 1-7/8" primaries, and was wondering if the SLC guys or anyone else playing with Chev gear has used any different.

I've got my firing order and sequencing sorted out, and just want to confirm the sizing.

I think this was posted in another thread, so sorry if this is a repeat. There is a lot of good information in this article. Unfortunately, it never comes out and says "for this application, use this size" because there are so many variables. But, I hope you find something in it useful.
