8 stack noise

Davo, Love the car...the blue with the gold wheels is a nice combo. My question is does that fuel line running in front of the exhaust cause the fuel to boil or cause any issues? I've seen this set up on a few GT40 engines nad have wondered if it has an ill effect.

No the fuel line does not have or give any trouble. It's not right on top of the exhaust, just looks that way.

Wear foam earplugs.... works just great!

Also seems to allow all mechanical noise to get through, so you can hear whats going on (right or wrong) without being deafened by induction roar...

oh - and worth a second or so off your lap times on track...:thumbsup:

Next thing I have to fix is my accelerator pedal, it's so hard to push..

Is this common with 8 stacks?

I had this problem on my 8 stack set-up (only 48mm each) and solved it by fitting a teflon lined throttle cable and a heat sleeve over the cable where it passed through the engine compartment. It now feels very free despite having quite a strong return spring at the pedal end. Hope this helps.
