99 Octane @ Tesco Superstores?

Seing the thread on compression ratio - I noticed that Tesco Superstores (or at least the one at Crawley) are selling Super Unleaded rated at 99 RON.

Anyone tried this fuel in thier car? or know how long its been available as I presumed Shell had the monopoly on high octane over here with their Optimax at 98 RON...

(normal super being 97 and regular unleaded 95)

They are selling it over in Essex at Lakeside as well now all the 'Red Handles' have been disposed of. Though I don't think my TDCi will like it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

So add in a cocktail brew and you should make 102 octane....Prepare for take off....
