The main objective here was to lower the gauge hump so that it is more in line with the top of the steering wheel and bottom of the windshield. This creates a more open view.

And that is why I have Superformance building my GT40. I do not near have that level of skill, nor the time. I can't imagine how much time.

Nice work. I did something similar on my GTM. Will the final gauge surround remain wood or something else? One thing to consider is what I did- send the pattern to Shane at VRaptor Speedworks and have it plasma cut in aluminum. I'm very happy with how mine turned out.
