Anybody running a siamese bore 302 with 8.2 deck ht ?

If you are running this block I would like to know if you are having any overheating
problems. This is the A4 replacement block.
I here some of the street rodders are running this block.

I use this block a lot for our full race engines.
It is to much for street use unless you want an engine that will rev over 8500 rpms.

It mostly has to do with cost verses usability. The block is $1700, then it takes $1400 in machine work to make it so you can use it. This block will work for building a $15,000-$20,000 race engine and be reliable. Or you can use a stock 302 block worked correctly and make 500 streetable hp at 7500rpms. Or go to a sportsman block for $750 work it properly with the right parts and have over 600hp at over 8000 rpms on pump gas. It costs a lot less than going with the race block. The race block is really for hard core racing, you are waisting money using it as a street engine.

Doesn't the race block allow more cubic inches than the stock block?

I understand that the cost for those extra
cubes may be cost prohibitive.
