Yup, that's the right move. The good news is the 016 is such a light little transaxle it can be a one man job. I'd hate to have to remove/replace a ZF multiple times.....

While you have that transaxle out, maybe think about installing a LSD and a strengthening plate if she doesn't already have them. The LSD out of a porsche 944 is an easy plug-n-play install. Just a thought.

Thanks Cliff running them both, 944t and the plate. Good point though! You are right its a straight forward op. I have it down to about 40 mins to clear the car.
