Proof that I am a masochist. Hopefully our new coach will put some backbone into the Aussies and we will perform well against the old enemy.
Have at it chaps. At least the weather is on our side.

Pete the reason I made that statement is the same reason why the Wallabies will fail against the All Blacks and I fear their world cup efforts wont be memorable either.
as both codes have just suffered the same stupid corporate interfering.

hey Pete cant agree more, it even took the press away from the captains duck lol.
I only hope he's up to the change of heart from the press over here when he has a bad day with the willow.
if only we had another 1/2 doz like him in the squad.

I drove near there yesterday on the way back from Little Rissington. What a beautiful part of the country in Summertime....

Went into the Rose Revived at Eynsham for a Pork Pie and Pickle. Lush..

Pete, John, fear not about any England ass kicking as far as the Ashes go. Read my posts on the England Footie team in response to the Iron Sheik's thread and you'll get the jest of my thinking. England in any sport always retains the ability to SNATCH DEFEAT FROM THE JAWS OF VICTORY!! They are #1 in the world for that. This Ashes series should be great viewing. I'm just sorry I can't watch it over here.

That's completely wrong - we just don't care about winning and always give the "little guy" a chance. To us, almost everyone else in the sporting world is the "little guy" and all we like to do is take part, have a few beers and a quick shag after the match.

We were taught that winning in sport is, kind of, undignified and you can plainly see how well that lesson was absorbed by our generation at least.

Unfortunately, the new generation was never taught that and I would apologise profusely on their behalves if they accidentally win...(anything)

It really is poor form of them...

I almost beat Bradley Wiggins to death with his bicycle pump last year! :shout:

Bugger off. I care about not winning. I do loads of side bets to restock my booze cupboards and I am down to my last 200 bottles or so of Barolo. I might have to start being careful by drinking Nebiollo di Alba or Millenium Riserve. We have to win. Sod the Aussies and their feelings - this is almost akin to warfare.

You could also bet on Austrilia mate or even better, what about an each way bet if your only interest is stocking your wine cupboard.. :quirk:

Mind you, perhaps you might have missed the touch of, er,piss take there? Heat getting you?

I'm coming over to drink it all anyway - and I shall camp on your lawn and sing Waltzing Bloody Mathilda until you throw a bottle or two my way...

I can tell you didn't go to the right school - I'll bet you never even had your own fag to oil your bat did you?

My bat got well oiled...

Luverly bit of Linseed that...

Very well then.
and I shall camp on your lawn
Please ignore the chemical smells as Hans The Grass has just treated the grass with all sorts of funny things and it does pong a bit. By mid August it should be nice and green.
ps
Do you need ground power ?

Nothing like linseed oil to make a bat shine Keith! No fags in Australia, but lots of poofters in Sydney, they even have their own Mardi Gras.
If you need the lyrics of waltzing Matilda to sing on David's lawn let me know.
