Biography of President George W. Bush???

Enough said Chris, I couldnt find a shaking hands graemlins to post here so you will just have to picture one, shake.
Howard someday I will take you up on that /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif and return the favor.
Falli, why dont you turn the Clinton thing in your favor and market Monica scent laced cigars, although I think he gave the one he used on her the same day to that short little now deceased terrorist to smoke. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Dan, I think your idea regarding Clinton is great. I am sure there is lots of money in it. For now however, I am planning to market posters with GW's picture and a caption that says WMD, "Where Is My Deck" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif

HI Fali,FYI there was WMD material in Iraq. Over 1.7 tons of weapons grade uranium was recovered and chemical / biological materials and delivery systems were also found. Saddam used bio/chemical stuff on his own people previous.Someday we may know if other things were smuggled out in the many month lead up and the 22 UN resolutions to the war. Now I am heading out to put up Xmas lights /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif have a good one and good luck on your posters. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Dan, I am 1000% with you that Saddam (MADDASS) had WMD, and I am sure you have data showing he was personally responsible for 9/11 as well. Iran and Pakistan should also be invaded (Both have WMD, and millions of fanatics). I think the more we kill, the safer we will be, just look at Israel, model of safety and harmony.

Hmmmm, where else? Ahhh, I hear Brazil and Venezuela are also building a bomb. Yep, add them to the list.

Let me know If you need a poster, I will make both kinds. One with GW and WMD,,,the other with BC and his cigar. I wonder which one would sell better /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Does anyone really think Saddam would use uranium in a nuclear weapon against anyone? Especially the U.S.? If I remember correctly, the uranium we found was only good for a few "dirty bombs" at best anyway. Don't forget how many we have ourselves - and don't think we won't ruthlessly use them either. Remember how we used napalm in Vietnam, and now white phosphor and related ordinances in Iraq? So many people like to write that he "gassed his own people". The people he gassed were Islamic extremists - people who were against his secular government. Sounds pretty familiar. If you step back, we did no different going after Saddam as Saddam did going after the Kurds - both of us killed innocent civilians in the process. The difference is, the Kurds were backed by an equally ruthless country right on his border, not half way around the world. Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11, in fact, it is known that he was keeping a close eye on Bin Laden and his like for the same reason we were. Notice I said were. That's the key here, because while we spend all this time and money in Iraq with our sons and daughters getting maimed and killed, we ARE NOT going after the ones responsible for 9/11. (BTW, the 2000 killed and 15000 injured do not include deaths and other casualties that didn't happen to occur in the middle of a battle. There are people who have died and lost legs while transporting equipment - even in guarded convoys but not counted in the public numbers because they were not in direct combact. - a little tidbit for the non-Americans who may not know)

Don't get me wrong - Saddam is a tyrant, and his sons should have been strung by their balls and slashed with razors by every person in Iraq instead of the quick and peaceful death they were granted. However, I don't like the fact that so many Americans seem to think their country is so perfect that it can do no wrong and the news tells them absolutely everything there is to know. Do you really believe the bullshit about the Senators who voted for the war having the same intelligence and information the President had? VERY VERY naive to me if that's the case. NOTHING leaves the White House without being "proofread" and "massaged". Even what the Senators see. The raw data is too confidential. With what is in the news now about what the raw data was really saying and Bush's history of changing science reports on the environment, (and Cheney and Rumsfeld's history of disregarding the CIA and forming their own group to "come up with their own data"), I don't believe for a second that any senator had the same information to base his vote on that the President and his cohorts had. No friggin' way. The info was made to look good for going to war.

Well, enough said. I didn't want to get in on this, but since I don't have my project started just yet, I had something to chime in about.

Good day.

Be careful, the "righteous" ones, will surely find you unpatriotic/traitor and call for your head. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bash.gif I am sure they already think of me as the ultimate Infidel /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Praise be upon thee, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flehan.gif If you are ever in Cali, I will buy shots of Tequila.

Don't worry Fred youre already on the list.

Fred you got to come over and see the latest adjustable front anti roll bar mod. I also just finished plumbing a blead line from the radiator to the expansion tank.

The mods go on. Come on by and have a cold one.

We need one of these things flipin the bird. It would save a lot of time.

Chris, an interesting counter point. But as brother Faili says beware of the rightous ones. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif

Well, given the fact that we are so far into this now I just hope I am wrong. But I'm not holding my breath. I can't be comfortable with a man who spews forth endless chatter about "democracy" yet ignores it on a global level and decides he will invade a country anyway. The talk is always about how the middle east needs democracy instead of the religious theocracies it has now. Yet he won't even blink at keeping religion out of America's government. He even supports teaching "intelligent design" in public schools. Very dangerous. The man didn't know about the 1965 Voting Rights Act. He couldn't define what a sovereign nation is. He got Sweden and Switzerland mixed up with regards to Switzerland being historically nuetral and having not much of an army, and forcefully defended his view. And what about his tough guy "Bring 'em on" quote? I'm sorry but anyone who has the nerve to tell me I don't "support the troops" yet thinks supporting a man who puts them in harms way for no apparent reason and then tells the enemy to "bring 'em on" is out of touch with reality. There is absolutely no excuse for a commander-in-chief to do that. He was a C student. A cheerleader. A failed businessman. Supposedly Christian yet holds the national record as governer for putting prisoners to death. Tells me I'm the enemy because I'm not "with us". His view of running the government is to lopside it with as many republican ultra conservatives as he can so he can get what he wants. That's not how this country was formed. That's not what the founding fathers had in mind. That is not what got this country as far as it has made it. The way he is running things it won't be long before we are the very type of country that he is trying to get rid of. We can't get any information out of this government. No checks and balances. Everything is the way HE wants it. Not you and me. That is why even his supporters are leaving in droves. That is why his popularity is in the low 30's. 9/11 shot his popularity up. Big F'in deal. If Kerry were president then the same thing would have happened to him. Hell, if Charles Manson were president he would've looked pretty good too. It was the event, not the man.

By the way, I thought the mission was accomplished a long time ago? Or did he just spend our tax money making a big hoopla over the world's strongest military taking a small military target just to make himself look good?

Aw hell, I did it again. Some one tell me none of this is real. Bush doesn't exist, neither does Kerry for that matter. The right man (or woman) will never get to the point where they can even be elected because of how things work here (or don't work). Just take it as it comes I guess.

Howy,

All my life I have been “on the List”. Keep the beer cold, the heathen is coming.

Chris P,

I think the bottom line is, tolerance for conflicting point of view. I like taking opposing views just to mess/F%$# with the “fanatic side” (left or right). I don’t think they realize how similar they look to Mullahs when they go nuts over simple criticisms.

After all, If criticizing “the leader”, NO belief in organized religion/crime /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon_bs.gif is going to get me shot, then I might as well go back to the Mullahs. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif
