brake switch position on RCR GT40

I cannot found where is positionned the brake switch on my RCRGT40. I have nothing on the brake pedal, I imagine it could be on the brake lines, but I cannot found it, or did the previous builder forgot it ?

mine is a pressure switch plumbed into the brake line circuit and was put - well hidden - inside of the vertical wall where the brake fluid bottles etc. are mounted to at the front...
I found it early on because it leaked brake fluid ... try following the brake lines starting from the master cylinders ...

JP, Walter, thank you, it is what I was figuring but impossible to locate a switch on the lines, either in the pedal box or in the nostrile.
I will recheck the lines.

are you looking because you don't have break lights working? If so you may try a mechanical switch (as used e.g. in my Alfa GTV2000).

I found this photo in a post. The switch seems to be on the front line.

I finally found the switch.
Walter, when I connect the 2 wire the stop light are working, but when I push on the break I have no light. But may be the brake circuit is not fully purged. I shall be shure of that first.

I had 2 hydraulic brake switches fail on my GT40
First one sprung a leak
Second one the switch stopped making electrical contact

I instead fitted a release to make the circuit switch that was on the balance bar and brake pedal bracketry and never had any mor problems after that

I had one blow too. If you’re insistent on using one don’t plumb into the front brakes. I’d suggest an electronic switch instead
