I was saddened to learn that Bryan passed away about a month ago. He was a highly regarded engineer with many achievements, especially his work with GT40s.

Brian was one of my formative influences on all things 40, many years ago.
I met him several times and i recall the last time we discussed problems he
was having with his Group C race car. He had an insightful sense of humour.
Perhaps one of his close group of fellow minded, who held regular meetings
for talks by the likes of Graham Bell, Jackie et al, will speak up on here.
I never did get an answer to the real reason behind his nickname of 'wing nut'.
I sensed more to it other than the obvious.
