Carlisle

Last weekend, I drove up to Carlisle to check out the replicar show. I had a great time seeing all the different makes of GT40s and speaking with the respective representatives as well as placing a face with a name. I already knew both CAV and ERA put out a fantastic product as I have visited the ERA facility in Connecticut and HRE motorcars in NY to see the CAVs as well as spoke to Bob Lacey numerous times.

Until last Sunday, I knew nothing about RFs except for the details provided on the board. I'll have to say, Robert Logan is a damn nice guy and really knows his engineering and GT40s. He answered more questions than I could throw at him. I was more than impressed with the options and variability one can have in terms of getting the GT40 of their wishes. And with a man like Gordon Levy behind the car as well, you can't go wrong. Now if I only had not bought my viper....

By the way, what did everyone think of the F40 replica? That car was quite unbelievable. You wouldn't believe it unless you saw it with your own eyes.

Jon, It was great talking to you at Carlisle. Have you started the addition to the garage yet

As for the garage, not built yet. But I have already asked a contractor for an estimate. I figure I may as well have it built rather tall so I can put a lift in it so I can stack cars.
