CAV GT40 going up for sale

Hi folks,

I hope this finds everyone doing well.

I just changed jobs after 16 years and now work for IBM. My CAV was completed in June 2004 and is now fully sorted and SAFE. It has all the important & suggested modifications. No easy task, if questions, please ask Bob Childress or Veek. Having a new job and several other personal changes recently, I am going to offer my CAV up for sale. Details to follow, but if you are very serious and cannot wait, please call me.

Here are the links to some pic's...

Tom, say it ain't so!!!
Having corresponded with Tom for some time, his attention and care to detail will make this a "better than new" acquisition for someone.

Serious only please, no trades, except for 2003 M5 with very low mileage (5K or less). With the new job, I just do not have time to burn. Car is located 5 miles West of Dallas-Fort Worth Airport.

Most CAV’s I have seen for sale either have lots of issues or have been built with run of the mill 302’s and 200.00 Getrags. This car was not built with low cost in mind. The ones I have seen advertised are run of the mill cars & they are asking 85-89K. I am asking for serious offers in the low $80’s & you can go drive & enjoy, not turn wrenches.
Thank you,
Tom

Ron,

Thanks for the kind words. With this significant change in my career, she just sits covered in the garage. It's the wrong thing to do. I bet she's only been out about three (3) times since I started with IBM on March 11th!

Thanks guy's!
