cav spider up date

I arrived at HRE motorcars at 5:15 pm and saw for the first tme, the first ever cav spider.Brite yellow, b1 flair and 17" wheels and tires, wow, this car looked stunning.
Hopping in was easy with short doors and no top.Is's a totally different car with out the roof.
Going back friday for some pics.

I noticed that your signature says your CAV is Guardsman blue. How close is the color to that of the original (Fran Kress) GT40 # 1054?

That's my favorite livery and I will paint mine that color when it's finished.

Fran Kress painted his coupe and spyder Guardsman blue, with wimbleton white stripes and I think Orange pinstripes separating the white and blue. Sounds ugly but looks good.
How about a picture of the spyder, so we all know what we are talking about here.

My color blue is exacly the same as Fran's. I have wilmingtion white stripes under the doors only.
Didn't make it to HRE today, but I will definetly be there tomorrow with camera in hand.
