Check your ZF

We had a RBT ZF slave cylinder failure on our P/2264. Pulled the transaxle, turns out the bleeder hose had warn through right were it passed through the bell housing. Ours is fairly high miles, but I strongly suggest checking and perhaps adding protection to this area. It’s a cheap part but a huge job to replace.

Paul Whitlock installed an external slave cylinder set-up on my ZF last year. Works great and is much easier to service. If anyone wants information on this they can reach out to Paul at [email protected]

A copy of the ERA system. It even uses the same BMW slave. However, we put the bleeder at the top.

Dennis Quella at Pantera performance center offers a similar external slave setup. Definitely the way to go.
