I went into the local newsagent today to pick up Which Kit? to check out next week's event. the mag had sold out but I saw a GT40 on the cover of this mag.

I bought it and it has a write up on
The ford Press car made to look like 1966 winner
Chris Ball's GT40
Tony Hunt's GTD
Paul Walton's Tornado
Chris Beattie's CAV
Matthew Carter's Ford GT

Good spread and pictires

www.GT40s.com gets a mention too

Regards
Ian

Sounds very nice! www.gt40s.com, nor Club Cobra, get any mention in the Kit Car magazines in the US market. I've written them, but I think the editors of the publications view the forums as a threat and thus don't publicize them.

Ian, I've just read the same mag' and while it's nice that they made an effort to cover the kit car side of GT40s I couldn't help feeling there just wasn't enough of it.
To be fair this is one of the better magazines and always has a really good balance between editorial, adds and the like so maybe I'm just seeing things through an obvious bias?
Nice to see the guys get a mention and all in all it has to be a step forward for the replicas to get good coverage.
Magazine quote: 'Walton's eye for detail lends the car the air of a real GT40' not bad going for a first ever build eh Paul, well done mate, your a sound engineer and by all accounts a sound engineer!
