I ran across the website for this Shelby American museum while surfing another forum. For those of us who may have never been face to face with an original GT40, the photos might give some idea of these phenomenal original cars. Here's a link to the GT40's page: Shelby American Museum
Included in the collection are P1015, P1021, P1037, P1046, P1102, and a J7 MK IV.
Slightly off topic, but my Fall 2006 "The Barrett-Jackson Experience" lists MK-V P1096 as having sold for $396,000--less than 5,000 actual miles. No mention, of course, as to where it went.
The Shelby American museum website also has many original 289 and 427 Cobras as well as Daytona Coupes for those of us who are interested in those Shelby creations. They even have a page for AC Bristols.
Have fun looking, guys!
Doug
