CV Boots

Question for Anyone who is running a Porsch G50 52 transaxle. What CV Boots are you using ? The original boots that came with the CV Jionts disintegrated so I need to replace them .
Was thinking of trying CV 863s

It should be a 930 style CV, I use the aero boots and haven't had one fail since switching away from the concertina style.

I Couldnt confirm if the 930 porsche boots are the same . I purchased the complete CV jionts from a local drive line company who has subsequently stopped trading. My set up is totaly unique from the transaxle through specialy made axles to Frod falcon XR 8 rear wheel assembly .please see picture of the boot I think may be OK note the boot has been inverted into the housing.

I can't find any useful dimensional information on that Hardy Spicer part number. The 930 is a 108mm diameter with 94mm bolt circle or a Type 1 CV is 94mm diameter with 78mm bolt circle.

The following may be of help in determining which type CV joint you have;

I dug up the info on my 930 boots - let me know if it helps:

CV boots (Autozone P/N 1094)
$40.20
CV Boot banding tool
$15.45
CV Boot Bands (4)
$9.37

My details are in this thread:

But they don't look like the flanges you have there.

Fits my 930 CV fine..
