Door lock plate dimensions

I am trying to find the dimensions for the door lock plate. The one that mounts exterior of the door onto catch mechanism. None of the drawings I have, contain them. Any help appreciated.

GT40P/1/2535 Plate, Door Lock. I'm after that one too.

Realistically I would make them to fit, but Indo not want to adlib the location the catch is located.

Picked up some close enough catches for less than $20 a piece.

This seems like a good alternative for the Rover P4 locks, which are hard to come by these days. I searched everywhere, but couldn’t find anything, also not on Fleabay.

Does anyone have a spare set of Rover P4 catches? I would be interested.

These plates does’nt fit replica doors, without cutting and extensively reworking the side of the door.

See if you can work out something from these pictures, have not made a layout print yet so alot of dimensions in a small area.

Rather than sourcing old recycled shait i have found this two stage latch from Southco.
It has a quite similar geometry to the original latch and is available new "off the shelf".
Part nbr is in one of the pictures if someone wants to give it a try.

Great stuff Ole, I have a few sets of these plates and P4 locks assy’s. Replica doors are nowhere near to fit the plates and needs full reworking if anyone thinks to fit the locks. Same goes for side replica door window opening which is approx 1in smaller than original opening.
