door rubbers

has anyone photos of their lower sill door rubber mounting where it meets the rear door pillar and the front hinged area really struggling to achieve a nice fit here.

A pre-bent piece came with the kit but by no means hardy enough.

This is always a tricky area to get a neat finish here, whatever make of car you are building. On the GTD they used two separate peices of trim butted up to each other and then a bit of black silicone sealant to connect them. On my car I just don't bother with the bottom trim altogether but clearly not watertight or indeed wind reducing!

Im nearly there with a good seal but for the door pillar end its ****** difficult to bend the rubber successfully .determined to get there

HUW,

Is this the area that you are talking about.
I got mine a bit better than the photo. It seals ok but I am still not happy with it. When it is on the road and have a bit more time I will revisit this area and come up with a better solution then. There must be a better way.

Another picture. The yellow piece, bolted under the leg of the dash, is a bit of fibreglass with a right-angle edge. The rubber seal fits on the edge.
